Meet Our Passionate Pet Care Team

I started Doggy's Big Day in 2013 as a way to fulfill a dream of being able to work with dogs all day doing something fun!  When I realized I could hike dogs for a living, I retired from real estate and property management and started my own pet care company.  I love spending time with animals and learning about their funny quirks and personalities.  I also completed a course on animal behavior and I try to continually learn about positive reinforcement training and how to apply that to the pets I care for.  I'm a certified pet first aid and CPR instructor, and I've been a volunteer and foster mom for the Humane Society of Utah and several other animal rescue groups.  I currently have 5 rescue dogs of my own and a kitty.  My dream now is to have 20-plus acres of land so I can hike dogs on my own property! 

Rebecca is the Scheduling and Accounts Manager of Doggy's Big Day and loves her job! She believes the Doggy's Big Day team is the absolute best! She keeps everyone's schedules organized and provides clients and staff with excellent support and communication. She has been a virtual assistant for her clients since 2009 and has had the opportunity to work in many interesting fields over the years. She also enjoys traveling, natural healing, herbalism, decorating for theme parties, and quality time with family and friends.

I'm excited to walk your dog so I can get my steps in and get some puppy lovin’! My black lab is my whole heart and it’s really hard to resist puppy fever. 
Some of my favorite pets have been my ball python, my rats, my horse, and my Madagascar hissing cockroach. Pet sitting since childhood has given me a good look into different animal personalities and I am prepared to cater to your best friend's specific needs. Each fur (or non-fur) baby deserves to be cared for with patience and respect and I want to offer a safe space to experience the world and have fun (and maybe get some paws dirty)! 

 The most important things in my life are my family and my dog Piper. I enjoy traveling, hiking, snowshoeing, yoga, cooking, reading, and writing. And I love animals very much! I think this job is a perfect fit :). 

I got my dog Piper from the Humane Society. I fell in love when I met her and couldn't bear to see her be put back in the kennel. She came home with me that day!

My favorite thing to do with Piper is to explore our beautiful state. The absolute best thing is when she gets the zoomies on the trail! Usually, it is around running water or small critters! She tries but never gets them!

I am a private dog walker and pet sitter for Doggy's Big Day. I have such a love for animals and quickly become friends with every fur buddy that comes my way. I have been an active foster and volunteer with different county shelters throughout the years and am currently exploring behavior training and creating a safe space for all animals. I have two cats of my own, though I think one is secretly a dog in disguise with how much he loves playing fetch. When I’m not surrounded by fur friends, I am enjoying the beautiful scenery Utah has to offer. I look forward to being able to care for your pet as if they were my own :)
